A Digital Series based on Life Is Strange was announced on July 27, 2016. It's produced by Legendary Digital Studios and dj2 Entertainment, currently in pre-production with no release date announced. Legendary Digital Studios, Square Enix and dj2 are currently meeting with potential writers for the series adaptation.[1] There hasn't been any news on the digital series since she announcement.

History Edit

The game was brought into Legendary by Cory Lanier, who will oversee the project with Greg Siegel, senior vp development and production for Legendary Digital Studios. Regarding their choice for a digital series adaption of the game Siegel said:

Life is Strange really differs from what people think of gaming. Because there’s such a focus on character, there’s an emotional connection to the story that doesn’t happen with other games.”[2]
Life is Strange is one of those rare properties that combines incredibly developed characters and storylines with deeply engaging gameplay. It lends itself perfectly to live-action imaginings. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Square Enix, DONTNOD Entertainment and dj2 to bring the world of Arcadia Bay to life in an exciting new way.”
